The Swiss Lace Frontal
No matter if it's a frontal or full lace wig or a closure, the lace is always going to be the same, as long as your supplier it's telling you the truth. most laces are made with light brown lace, it's all about the material itself. when you are choosing a lace wig, the first thing you need to do is to find the one that matches your skin color. but when your choices are limited and you want that super melted realistic look, then you need to use a transparent lace, you can always buy the transparent lace wig and get the lace tinted later as to how you would prefer. most laces come as a light brown lace, for dark skin customers, it's undetected. even people with darker skin tones can wear it because you can put a tint on it, you can use makeup on it. it'll blend flawlessly. it's also very thin, it's stretchy and not hard. it's durable, you can even wear it glueless.
The HD Lace
It gives the most flawless results you’ll ever see in your life. however, this lace is not built to last. if you want to get a wig made, if you're looking to install your hair glueless, and pop it on and off every day, this is not the place for you. if you're looking to install this lace, clean the lace off, and reinstall it, it will not work. because this lace is not durable at all. it's very see-through and undetectable. once it has been tinted to your skin complexion, it's a flawless install. just like the transparent lace, any skin tone can use this lace. however, it has to be tinted. all of the different skin tones customers can use this lace. Once you start to stretch and pull on this lace, it'll be torn apart. HD lace is meant for short-term use. The celebrities wear HD lace for big events, Grammys, Oscars, photoshoots, videos things like that it’s not meant for weeks and months on end.
Note: if you are a hairstylist and have all different skin tone clients. if you don't know what to use on them, you should ask clients to come in for a consultation so that you can match the lace-up against their skin, that's easy to do. but if you're busy and don't have enough time to do one-on-one consultations with your clients before their appointment, you can ask them to send pictures of themselves so you know what you're working with. Another thing about transparent lace, it is also very stretchy and durable. it can go both ways. the lace is always gonna make or break your style.
