5 Mistakes To Avoid Before Launching Your Hair Business
The first and the most important step of starting your hair business is launching your hair business. You need the right tools to plan a successful launch to get your coins. It only makes sense. So we're covering five potential reasons you didn't get the coins you thought you were going to get or your launch didn't go the way you thought it was going to go.
#1 Have No Visibility On Social Media
The very first thing that may have gone wrong is you kept everything to yourself you waited until the very last minute of your launch to tell people about your business. This happened way too often. Two months down the line, you won't even have this business anymore. Don't let that be you, there was no type of hype. There was no type of anticipation building, you didn't form an email list, you didn't form an audience, you didn't do anything. That would be your first mistake. But don't feel bad and don't feel ambushed, because a lot of people make that mistake.
#2 No Product On Hand
The second thing you may have done could be a reason your launch didn't go how you thought were you have absolutely no product on hand. People want what they want when they want it. It's 2021, a lot of businesses are running on dropshipping methods and pre-order. It’s understandable. But even then, you need something on hand, because you're going to get the emergency customer that has money in hand ready to buy and you ain't got nothing for them. So always keep the product on hand, even if it is a small amount of quantity. You need to plan strategically when you are launching a new product, launching a new business. There is a system to it and if you know it, it's a money-making machine.
#3 Have No Quality Photos
The third reason your launch may not have gone as planned you have no quality photos that you have taken yourself. You took them all from your vendor and there's no type of branding, there's no type of consistency. People don't trust you, they don't feel like this is a secure website to send their coins to. This creates fear from new buyers, it will prevent people from shopping with you. Have you ever wondered why you're getting all of this traffic on your website but nobody's converting? It's because something's wrong with the site. It'd be your photo quality or it is the colors or it's just sloppy looking. It's a lot of things that be playing a part, but a lot of the time the biggest hang-up is you did not invest in quality photos and quality content. It is so important.
#4 Do Not Know Your Audience
Number four is you didn't take the time out to get to know your audience. You didn't care to think if this is something they want or need? You can’t just come up with whatever you want and expect people would just buy it. Your business will fail because you do not know your target audience. Who are you targeting? Do you know? Your target audience does not just consist of gender age and ethnicity.
#5 Not Consistent Enough
Last but certainly not least, this is probably by far the most important thing here. This one is not negotiable and that is you only show up sometimes. Therefore you only get sales sometimes. People have it in their minds that a launch day is just a day. A launch day isn't a day at all, it is a sequence that can be weeks long. You could be in your life sequence before people even know you're selling anything. The only thing a lot of people are consistent at is being inconsistent. You have to take accountability for it. Because if not, you're not going to fix the problem if you don't think there is a problem. If you didn't make at least a thousand dollars during your launch, we got work to do. A thousand dollars is lowballing it, but we all have to start somewhere. Figure out what you're doing wrong and correct it. That's what it's all about constantly learning and constantly growing.
